October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Whilst most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early states and encourage others to do the same.

Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women.  About 1 in 8 women born in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.  Make a difference! Spread the word about mammograms and encourage friends, families and organisations to get involved.
